German subsidiary (DENSO Automotive Deutschland GmbH) to strengthen its design, development, engineering and testing capabilities in Europe, has invested nearly 19.3 million euros of its expansion in Germany Aachen Engineering Center, Wegberg. Denso Engineering Center is the first diesel engine parts engineering base established outside Japan. Compared to the original engineering center built in 2005, the Aachen Engineering Center expanded from 2,110 square meters to 6,550 square meters. The newly added equipment includes two engine dynamometers, a chassis dynamometer, and other hardware facilities and software development equipment.
