Handan Iron & Steel officially became a supplier of Dongfeng automotive materials
Recently, Hebei Iron and Steel Group Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (referred to as Dongfeng Limited ) and Shiyan Tuojin Industry & Trade Co., Ltd. have signed a three-party direct supply strategic cooperation agreement. Handan Steel has officially become Dongfeng Limited Automotive Steel Supplier. On August 13th, the first batch of 118 tons of steel grade was DC01, and the cold-rolled steel sheet with a thickness of 1.0 mm and a width of 1250 mm was all produced and will be delivered to customers. This move marks the continuous acceleration of the strategy for Handan Iron & Steel to enter the domestic automobile manufacturing industry. It is understood that Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. is a joint venture company with Nissan Motor Co. of Japan. Its products cover commercial vehicles , passenger cars, parts and auto equipment, and is the first joint venture company in the domestic automotive industry. The company seized the opportunity for development and quickly showed a good momentum of production and sales in domestic and foreign markets.
