Based on the introduction of the technology of Toshiba Corporation of Japan, Harbin Electric has comprehensively digested and absorbed the design and technology, and quickly mastered the manufacturing technology of the 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical turbo generator, achieving a localization rate of 80%.
Although the product is very powerful, the structure is very compact, with a total length of 10.9 meters and a height of 4.1 meters. The weight of the stator components reaches 430 tons, and the total weight of the whole unit reaches 660 tons. The maximum power is 1.1 million kilowatts, which can effectively reduce the capital construction investment of the power plant, and the most critical performance of the generator - the efficiency exceeds 99%.
From May 2005, the company signed a supply contract with Guodian Company in Beijing and took effect. It took 27 months to complete the manufacture of the first million generators. The schedule of construction of similar products in China has been refreshed.
In the process of introducing the technology and manufacturing digestion and absorption of Toshiba Corporation of Japan, in order to meet the requirements of manufacturing this type of generator, Harbin Electric has adopted a large number of new processes, new equipment and new methods, and firstly carried out large-scale transformation of the process equipment. The dynamic balancing machine and the stator base machining center have been added, and a new 550-ton crane has been added. Harbin Electric has adopted a number of advanced technologies, using vacuum brazing technology, and the stator frame is assembled in three stages, of which the high-performance punching film is used for the first time.
According to the quality requirements of Toshiba Corporation, Harbin Electric has been strict and conscientious, and has set up quality checkpoints in every key link. It has overcome technical difficulties such as stator core loading and rotor processing. In the manufacturing process, the product quality has been fully achieved. Toshiba's technical standards have laid a solid foundation for mass production of this type of product in the future. At the same time, Toshiba's technical and quality engineers were invited to check the quality. The quality of the products was appreciated by Toshiba and American GE experts working at Harbin Electric.
