Iran’s state-owned oil company and Venezuela’s state-owned PDVSA oil company jointly invested in the establishment of an oil company called VENIROC, which each invested 50%. The company is based in Spain. The VENIROC company will jointly undertake joint projects and is currently negotiating investment in the construction of a Syrian refinery.
