It is not an exaggeration to describe the rapid growth of passenger cars in China. After a period of time after the founding of the People's Republic of China, passenger cars in China depended on imports. With the strengthening of enterprise strength, Chinese passenger cars gradually developed from self-sufficiency to overseas markets. In the first six months of 2005 A total of 2,615 buses were exported to China, a year-on-year increase of 33.21%, and the total amount of exports reached US$ 73,424,800, an increase of 156.2% year-on-year, indicating that the Chinese bus companies have risen in overseas markets, on the other hand, the unit price of passenger cars has rapidly risen to US$ 28,100,000. It shows that the structure of passenger car exports is undergoing sound adjustments.
In 2005, China's bus companies were frequently reported overseas. The first is Yutong’s export of 400 passenger cars to Cuba, setting a record for the largest number of single-batch passenger cars in China. Big Dragon also won the British VCA test certification. The general manager of VCA said: "Based on mature manufacturing technology and product quality comparable to that of European passenger cars, Daimler Dragon Buses has gradually embarked on the path of advancing to the world. At the same time, domestic passenger car companies are increasingly aware of technology as a core competitiveness in export strategy. In addition to Yutong and Dajinlong, Xiamen Golden Brigade and Thailand signed a contract to assemble 980 sets of CKD parts in Thailand, and FAW Bus also signed 300 passenger buses and 100 buses to Zimbabwe to export to Thailand. A contract for the supply of spare parts for passenger cars was announced in the same year when the World Bus Alliance announced that the production and sales volume of passenger cars in China has accounted for 22.6% of the world's total production and sales volume, and the focus of world passenger car demand and manufacturing is shifting to China.
Full expansion
In 2006, China's passenger car exports increased by 117.45% over 2005, an increase of 7 times the growth rate of the passenger car industry as a whole. In 2007, the export of passenger cars in China continued to maintain rapid growth. In the first half of the year alone, exports reached 23,327, an increase of 237.53% over the same period of last year. As the world's largest passenger car production base, China's passenger car exports have entered an expansion period.
In 2007, several big orders signed by Chinese passenger cars attracted people's attention. First of all, the Russian market has become a significant highlight. At the 2007 China National Exhibition in Moscow in 2007, the Brilliance Group announced the signing of an agreement with the Russian Empire Trading Company. The agreement stipulates that Brilliance will export 80,000 Jinbei Haishi buses to Russia within five years. Yutong buses are not far behind. During this exhibition, 500 vehicles worth 10 million U.S. dollars were signed with Russia, and in June 2007, Yutong Group, a major shareholder of Yutong Bus, signed a grand bus ticket of 370 million U.S. dollars with Cuba, which was contracted from 2007 to 2009. Cuba will purchase 5,348 passenger vehicles from Yutong Group, which is the largest export contract in the domestic passenger car industry in the past 10 years, and Yutong Group has thus set a new record for passenger car exports in China. In addition, Yutong in 2007 in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Switzerland In addition, Cyprus also has small-batch exports. Dajinlong achieved breakthroughs in passenger car exports in Malta, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Futianou V also exported passenger cars to the European market.
Export structure optimization
Among the bus companies in 2008, Yutong’s export value was the largest, and Xiamen Golden Brigade had the largest number of exports, and Daikin Dragon’s export value and export volume grew the most. The growth rate of exports from the second camp of the passenger car industry is very obvious. The increase in the export volume and export value of Yaxing Bus is 584.62% and 781.68% respectively. The increase in export volume and export value of Guilin Coach Group is 583.33% and 410.39%, respectively. The increase in exports and exports was 72.61% and 52.38%, respectively.
After five consecutive years of rapid export growth, bus exports, which were dragged down by the financial crisis, have gradually picked up since July this year. In July of this year, China's passenger cars exported 3,409 vehicles, an increase of 8.67% from the previous quarter.
