Mawei Shipyard first used Shanghai AOT water purification system

The Alfa Laval Group of Sweden has created a non-chemical chemical purification ship water system, and the environmental protection role has been highly praised by the International Maritime Association. Fujian Mawei Shipyard has recently decided to adopt early adopters. This is the first Chinese business of Alfa Laval Shanghai since its establishment in 1997.

It is understood that the Swedish Alfa Laval Group's water purification system uses advanced oxidation technology (AOT), which activates oxidants to generate free radicals, decomposes microorganisms within a few milliseconds, and has no chemical residues in the whole process. This is especially true for ships that need to handle huge ballast water. With the support of the Fujian Mawei Shipyard, Alfa Laval Shanghai will install the system for the new German ship that is being built at the plant.

Globe valves with ports at an angle are called angle globe valves. The two ports may be oriented straight across from each other on the body, or oriented at an angle such as a 90°angle.
