The Yanya asbestos mine is located near the town of Yuya in the northwest of Qaidam Basin in Qinghai. The mine has three beneficiation plants. The ore is a transverse fiber, the mesh vein has a cotton content of 5% to 8%, the fiber length is 1 to 5 mm, and the long fiber content is not much, and most of the fiber is V-VI grade fiber, and the fiber is easily separated from the gangue, and is easily sorted. The mineral processing process is shown in the figure below. The main equipments include: jaw crusher , self-centering vibrating screen, impact crusher , plane rotary screen, suction drum, vertical shaft hammer crusher , cone screen, high square screen, cotton drop cylinder and packaging machine.
The design capacity of the Yanya asbestos ore dressing plant is 12,000t/a, the mine feed size is 450mm, the selected workshop size is 25~30mm, the ore grade is 3%~5%, the rough tailing grade is 0.8%, and the selected tailing grade is 0.2%. ~0.5%, the beneficiation ratio is 60%-85%, the ore dressing recovery rate is 60%-85%, and the product grade IV cotton accounts for 38.89%.
