[Defense and Publicity Center of the National Defense Science and Technology Commission] Shandong Provincial Defense Science and Technology Office is seriously lacking in the supply of medium- and low-speed diesel engines for domestic marine high-powered vehicles. The shortage of crankshafts has become the bottleneck of development, and the implementation of Shandong Province’s requirements for accelerating the development of supporting industries has been earnestly implemented. Give play to the advantages of industry management, strengthen coordination and communication with relevant departments of Shandong Province, and actively organize relevant enterprises to carry out technical research on the development and production of marine power equipment.

At present, Shandong Provincial Defense Science and Technology Office has determined to rely on Shandong Tongyu, Weichai and other enterprises to establish a cooperative mechanism to organize the joint research of all-fiber crankshafts for marine high-speed medium-speed diesel engines. Guide and encourage Shandong Tongyu Group to introduce technology to develop and produce high-power medium-speed diesel engine full-fiber crankshaft; Zibo Diesel Engine Corporation to increase crankshaft finishing equipment, improve the high-fiber medium-speed diesel engine full-fiber crankshaft finishing capacity, and improve the crankshaft production chain. At the same time, we will conscientiously implement relevant policies and provide support for the smooth implementation of the project.
