This is the second consecutive month of decline in this value, and it is lower than the 50 line, indicating that the manufacturing sector has entered a contraction zone. From the breakdown of the data, the new orders sub-index fell below the 46.7 line, the first contract since April this year. It can be seen that the slowdown in the manufacturing industry is mainly due to the weakening of domestic demand.
