U.S. Axle Appoints Planning Department Vice President and President of North America
U.S. Axle recently announced two personnel appointments, with the appointment of Vice President of Corporate Planning and President of North America. Nigel Francis has been appointed Vice President of Enterprise Planning at Axle America. Prior to this, Nigel Francis served as Senior Automotive Consultant in the state of Michigan and concurrently served as Vice President of the Automotive Industry Office of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. He also resigned from the above positions on November 14 this year. Nigel Francis has nearly 30 years of working experience in the automotive industry. He has been engaged in advanced design and engineering product development for many years and has also been involved in the development of hybrid and electric vehicle technologies in recent years. Jon R. Morrison has been appointed President of North America in Axle, USA, and Vice President of American Axle. Prior to Jon R. Morrison's team includes WABCO and Meritor WABCO. In his 30 years of automotive career, Jon R. Morrison has been responsible for different aspects of finance, manufacturing, marketing, engineering, and global customer relationship management.
