Wärtsilä received a matching order for 2 scientific research vessels in China
C Jaw Crusher:
Jaw Crusher is mainly used as a coarse crusher, which aims to crush the demonstration into smaller particles while processing the subsequent crushing section. Because it can effectively handle a large number of hard rocks, jaw crusher is a popular alternative to coarse crushing cycle crusher. Due to its small size, jaw crushers are also suitable for applications in narrow spaces, such as underground mining and mobile crushing applications.
(1) Unparalleled reliability: pin and bolt connection and non welded frame structure, high-quality components.
(2) High output and high crushing ratio: excellent feeding capacity and efficient jaw movement.
(3) Simple installation, operation and maintenance: it can be transported separately, monitored remotely and adjusted at the discharge port.
(4) A variety of options: lifting tools, safe flywheel and driving device protective cover, maintenance platform.

The agreement was formally signed in April this year. The two scientific research vessels will be built by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard and Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group.
The two scientific research vessels were powered by two Wärtsilä 4L20 + two 9L26 and two 4L20 + two 8L26 engines, together with Wärtsilä retractable propellers and nitrogen oxides for the engine. The device is processed to meet the International Maritime Organization's tertiary emission standards for nitrogen oxides and obtain the EIAPP certificate.
It is reported that the engine will be designed and installed in such a way that noise and vibration are minimized, so that the data collection of the scientific research activities and the interference in the work of the ship scientific research personnel are reduced as much as possible, and the comfort of the personnel on the ship can also be improved. This is the first time that the Chinese scientific research ship is equipped with a nitrogen oxide post-treatment device.
The Wärtsilä telescopic thruster provides efficient maneuvering and dynamic positioning for the vessel. Due to its compact design, all auxiliary systems have been pre-installed in the unit, thus minimizing the space required. The retractable thrusters equipped with the two new ships have output capacities of 850 kW and 1000 kW, respectively. Wärtsilä won the project with its experience in reducing noise and vibration on the scientific research ship and the short delivery time.
Mr. Peter Hansten, Regional Sales Director, Wärtsilä Marine and Marine Solutions, said: “Waceland has always met the stringent requirements of customers in terms of engine vibration and noise control and compact design. In addition, Wärtsilä’s NOx The treatment unit, in conjunction with the Wärtsilä diesel engine, fully meets IMO Tier III emission standards. We have extensive experience in providing reliable and efficient total solutions for scientific research vessels. All these advantages have earned us the order."
After delivery, one of the 98-meter-long scientific research vessels “Dayang No. 2†will be used for comprehensive research on deep sea resource environment detection. Another 90-meter-long scientific research ship will be used as a support mother ship for the manned submersible "Jilong". The two scientific research vessels will be delivered to the shipowners in March 2019 as planned. Wärtsilä related equipment will be delivered by the end of 2017.
As of now, Wärtsilä has provided power solutions for nine new Chinese marine survey vessels and has become a leading supplier in this field.
