Electromagnetic flowmeters generally do not require routine maintenance when measuring sewage. However, when the measured medium is prone to sticking or fouling on the inner wall of the electrode and the measuring tube, the inner wall of the measuring tube and the electrodes must be cleaned periodically. Care must be taken not to damage the flowmeter lining and electrodes.
When the electromagnetic flowmeter for measuring the sewage fails, please refer to the following table to search, analyze the causes, and troubleshoot them one by one:
1. Measure whether the medium in the pipe is full, whether the lining of the flowmeter and the electrode of the flowmeter are fouled;
2. The flowmeter is reliable for all cable connections;
3 flowmeter grounding requirements are satisfied;
4. Is the flowmeter excitation coil short-circuited or open circuited and is it insulated from ground?
5. Whether the medium in the pipeline installed in the flowmeter is leaking, whether the upstream and downstream valves are affected, and whether the installation position of the flowmeter is appropriate;
6. Does the surrounding environment interfere with the flowmeter?
7. Whether the converter of the electromagnetic flowmeter for sewage is malfunctioning.
