EU puts forward list of most important mineral resources

In the September issue of the European Commission's Corporate Directorate, a report on the determination of key mineral materials jointly completed by experts from the relevant departments of Member States, geological surveys and related industrial fields was published. The report analyzed 41 types of minerals and metals and other raw materials, and finally identified 14 of them as the most important for the EU. They were: germanium, antimony, cobalt, fluorspar, antimony, bismuth, graphite, indium, magnesium, strontium, Platinum, rare earth, antimony, and tungsten. The report pointed out that the demand for these raw materials supply risk mainly lies in: First, some of them are aggregated in the global distribution, such as China has 90% of the world's rare earth and antimony, Brazil has 90% of the world's antimony, and 77% of platinum.
