Japan Komatsu Construction Machinery Expands Market Share in China

According to the news, at the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Komatsu, the large-scale construction machinery group company in Japan, the first-class training facilities built by the company in its hometown of Okitamachi, Komatsu-shi, Ishikawa Prefecture, and a park for local residents were also completed.

The training facility built in Komatsu City is mainly used as a training ground for new employees of the company. According to the responsible personnel of the company's relevant departments, at present, 67 new employees who have just joined the company in 2011 are receiving Chinese training in the training facility. It is expected that the company will have about 20,000 to 30,000 members using the training facilities and the conference hall to study and work each year.

Komatsu excavator is currently the best-selling construction machinery product in China. As of December 31, 2010, its sales volume in the Chinese market has risen by 25%. According to statistics, Komatsu’s market share in the Chinese market has reached 14% of the market, which is much higher than that of other construction machinery in the Chinese market.
