May car sales in Argentina fell 15% year-on-year in May

According to the data compiled by the Argentine Automobile Manufacturers Association’s Adefa, in May Argentina’s car production, sales and exports continued to decline.

In May, Argentina’s car sales were 64,746 vehicles, a year-on-year drop of 15%, and sales were 75,996 vehicles in the same period last year.

Argentine auto production in May was 60,206 units, a year-on-year drop of 24%, compared with 79,585 units in the same period last year.

In May, the volume of Argentine auto exports was only 28,650 units, a year-on-year decrease of 46%, compared with 52,715 units in the same period last year.
