Recently, Milacron of Ohio, USA, announced that it plans to lay off 10% of its business units in North America with a total of about 130 employees. Currently, layoffs are not announced.
Milacron applied for bankruptcy reorganization in March. By the end of June, the bankruptcy court had approved Milacron's sale of its assets to two investor groups (New York-based Avenue Capital Group and DDJ Capital Management LLC), and its debt will be inherited by both groups.
