Dalian marine diesel engine 6RT-flex58T-D V2 type host successfully passed inspection

On October 19th, the 6RT-flex58T-D V2 mainframe built by Dalian Marine Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. for the teaching ship of Yupeng of Dalian Maritime University was successfully tested.

The machine adopts an economical combustion mode with a maximum output of 10,850 kW, an average effective pressure of 16.2 bar, a maximum burst pressure of 156 bar and a total weight of 322 tons, which is classified by China Classification Society. This is the second time the company has cooperated with domestic institutions to provide the main source of power for its teaching vessels.

It is reported that this type of host can meet the IMO International Maritime Organization's TII emission standards in terms of emissions; in terms of fuel consumption, different combustion modes can be used under different working conditions, and fuel consumption has been greatly reduced. In terms of safety, the dual booster design provides greater safety and efficiency.
