With the surge in domestic car ownership, recalls due to vehicle safety hazards continue to rise. From January 1 to June 30, 2018, the AQSIQ issued a total of 88 recall notices.

After collecting relevant data, Netcom found that a total of about 4.92 million vehicles were recalled, of which 2,488,223 were recalled by Japanese, accounting for 51% of the total recall. The reasons for the recall included airbags, steering assist, engine, brakes, front windshield, wiper and other issues; a total of 1,378,033 vehicles were recalled 13 times due to airbag hazards. First, the Japanese, German, and American recalls accounted for over 90%

As of June 30, the total number of recalled vehicles in China was mainly Japanese, German and American brands, with a total of 88 recalls involving 16 brands. Among them, the Japanese government recalled 2,488,223 vehicles, accounting for 51% of the total recall; the German recalls totaled 1,305,179 vehicles, accounting for 27% of the total recall; the US Department recalled 639,103 vehicles, accounting for 13% of the total recall. Among the remaining cars, 330,398 self-owned brands were recalled, 107,302 were recalled by the Korean system, 50,024 were recalled by the European Department, and 3,822 were recalled by the French Department. (Note: European brands are European brands other than German and French)

As of June 30, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued 88 recall notices for 20 safety hazards. Among them, the airbag hidden danger recalled 29 times, a total of 1,337,783 vehicles; the steering assisted hidden danger recalled 10 times, a total of 200,424 vehicles; engine hidden danger recall 7 times; the front windshield hidden dangers were recalled 3 times, wiper, seat belt, door lock and shifting Each recall of the box was 2 times, and the fuel leak, chassis, instrument and skylight were recalled once.
