Pressure transmitter common faults and treatment methods
First, the transmitter has no output
WINGS Dual Fuel Forklift can be powered by gasoline or LPG, and the operator will choose which type of fuel to use by controlling a switch. People usually take LPG as priority fuel as it is more economical, and greener. Since it has two power source, its continuous working time is doubled, suitable for long working hours.
We provide a wide range of Dual Fuel Forklift, the lifting height varies from 3-meter to 8-meter. There are also different tonnages for you reference. For more information about Dual Fuel Forklift, Gasoline&LPG Forklift, LPG Forklift, please don't hesitate to contact us and we are ready to introduce you our best product with competitive price.

1: Check if the transmitter power supply is reversed. Solution: Connect the power supply polarity correctly.
2: Measure the power supply of the transmitter, whether there is 24V DC voltage; Solution: The power supply voltage to the transmitter must be ≥12V (that is, the voltage of the transmitter power input terminal is ≥12V). If there is no power supply, it should be checked whether the circuit is disconnected, whether the instrument is selected incorrectly (input impedance should be ≤250Ω); and so on.
3: If it is with a meter, check whether the meter head is damaged (you can short the two wires of the meter head first. If it is normal after short circuit, it means the head is damaged). Solution: If the meter head is damaged, it needs to be replaced. Head,
4: Connect the ammeter into the 24V power supply circuit to check if the current is normal. Solution: If it is normal, the transmitter is normal. In this case, check whether other instruments in the loop are normal.
5: Whether the power supply is connected to the power input of the transmitter; Solution: Connect the power cable to the power terminal.
Second, the transmitter output ≥ 20mA
1: Is the transmitter power supply normal? If it is less than 12VDC, check whether there is a large load in the circuit. The input impedance of the transmitter load should meet RL≤(transmitter supply voltage -12V)/( 0.02A Ω
2: Whether the actual pressure exceeds the selected range of the pressure transmitter; Solution: Re-select the pressure transmitter of the appropriate range.
3: The pressure sensor is damaged, and a serious overload sometimes damages the isolation diaphragm. Solution: It needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
4: Is the wiring loose? Solution: Connect the cable and tighten
5: Is the power cable wiring correct? Solution: The power cable should be connected to the corresponding terminal.
Third, the transmitter output ≤ 4mAOutput ≤ 4mA
1: Whether the transmitter power supply is normal Solution: If it is less than 12VDC, check whether there is a large load in the circuit. The input impedance of the transmitter load should meet RL≤(transmitter supply voltage -12V)/( 0.02A Ω
2: Whether the actual pressure exceeds the selected range of the pressure transmitter; Solution: Re-select the pressure transmitter of the appropriate range. The pressure sensor is damaged. Serious overload sometimes damages the isolation diaphragm. Solution: It needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
Fourth, the pressure indication is incorrect Wrong indication
1: Is the transmitter power supply normal? If it is less than 12VDC, check whether there is a large load in the circuit. The input impedance of the transmitter load should meet RL≤(transmitter supply voltage -12V)/( 0.02A Ω
2: Whether the pressure value of the reference is correct or not: If the accuracy of the reference pressure gauge is low, it is necessary to replace the pressure gauge with higher precision.
3: The pressure indicating meter's range is consistent with the pressure transmitter's range. Solution: The pressure indicating meter's range must be connected to the pressure transmitter.
