Recently, the project “Development and Industrialization of Rare Earth Rubber” jointly developed by Jinzhou Petrochemical Company and the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences passed the appraisal of the appraisal committee organized by the Science and Technology Department of Liaoning Province.
"Rare earth butadiene rubber development and industrialization" project is a national "863" plan and a major support project of China National Petroleum Corporation. Rare-earth butadiene rubber is based on rare-earth yttrium as the main catalyst, butadiene as the monomer, hexane as the solvent, using adiabatic polymerization method to obtain a random high-cis polybutadiene. Scientific research personnel have broken through a series of key technologies in research and development, and have overcome technological difficulties such as high viscosity, difficult transportation, unstable product quality, and difficulty in processing during production, and developed efficient, stable, homogeneous rare-earth catalyst preparation technologies; The continuous feeding, continuous aging and adiabatic polymerization production processes have made breakthroughs in the control of the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of butadiene rubber, and have mastered techniques for synthesizing different molecular weight distributions and Mooney viscosity.
