Ethylene Decomposition Furnace Anchor
There are many types of anchors, and high-holding anchors are commonly used on drilling platforms, as shown in Figure 1. The main feature of this anchor is that its gripping force can only be guaranteed when the pulling force is in the horizontal direction. If the pulling force has a vertical component, the gripping force is reduced, and the anchor claw will be pulled out of the ground. Experiments show that the grip force starts to decrease when the anchor handle is turned up by 6°, and the grip force decreases significantly when the anchor handle is turned up by 12°. Therefore, when mooring, the lower end of the anchor chain must be tangent to the seabed, otherwise there is a danger of running the anchor. Lifting the anchor is to use this feature, pull the anchor chain upward to lift the anchor handle, the anchor loses its grip, and finally breaks out of the ground.
