BP to build new 1.25 million tons/year PTA plant
China Drying Network News BP recently announced that it has authorized JBF Petrochemicals to use its latest generation of PTA technology. The technology will be applied to the 1.25 million tons/year PTA plant built by JBF Petrochemical in the Special Economic Zone of Mangalore, India. The device is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2014. The PTA technology can significantly reduce investment and operating costs, save energy, use less water, and produce less solid waste than traditional production technologies.
