Recovering cesium from tin slag
Tin smelting slag typically containing scandium of from 0.05 to 0.6%, scandium-containing material of higher, having recovery value. The slag is leached with hydrochloric acid to obtain a solution containing 150 to 300 ml of hydrazine and a hydrochloric acid concentration of 1 to 2 M. 0.3 ~ 1.0M extracted kerosene solution of P204, stripping the hydrogen fluoride, containing the sulfuric acid to obtain crude 2 O 3 72% scandium oxide Sc, recoveries of 80% to 82%. Since the mother liquid contains impurities such as zirconium , titanium and tin, it forms a third phase with P 2 O 4 and affects the extraction separation. In order to eliminate the interference of zirconium, H 3 PO 4 can be added to remove the zirconium to form Zr(HPO 4 ) 2 precipitate, Zr(HPO 4 ) 2 will adsorb ruthenium, but increasing the acidity can reduce the adsorption of ruthenium, and the mother liquor after zirconium removal, Extraction with P 2 O 4 did not form a third phase. The crude cerium oxide is dissolved in hydrochloric acid, and the oxalic acid precipitate is burned to form cerium oxide. Then, the cerium oxide is dissolved by hydrochloric acid, precipitated by sodium thiosulfate, acid-soluble, and the iodate of titanium, zirconium and strontium is removed by precipitation with carbonate to further purify the hydrazine, and finally converted into cerium oxide, the purity is over 99%. The recovery rate of hydrazine was 55.4%.

2. Avoid the skin and the eye contact, if touches the skin, clean with soap water, if touches the eye carelessly, uses the massive clear water flushing immediately, go to hospital if serious situation.
3. Close tightly after use to avoid evaporate.

1. Stock the products in cool and dry place. The shelf life is one year. It is available to use based on passing of the test if being beyond the shelf life.

3. Packing: 125ml/box in aluminum tube; 125ml,250ml,500ml,1000ml/tin in iron tin.
